Today is the sixth anniversary of the last time I saw my Integra as a drivable car. I can't help but be a little sad around this time of year. So long, old pal. You were the best.

Was it stolen?

Sorry for your loss.

I glad I'm not the only one who misses theirs. I can't help but think that every former Integra owner misses theirs.

The scumbags eventually got it, and totaled it.

Oh yeah, I remember reading that! That really must be a terrible feeling.

Even though it was just an Integra, nothing pisses me off more than people stealing other people's prized possessions. Hell, if someone ran off with my 9er, I'd hunt those fuckers down.

I loved that car like the Duke Boys loved the General Lee. That car was part of the family. I still miss it terribly.

Damn, and it's by far the nicest Integra I've ever seen.

I feel you man. Mine was supposed to stay in the family, but my brother shuffled mine off through an ex girlfriend.

Thanks! There were nicer ones out there, but I put a lot of time into keeping mine up.

Y'know, in a way, the finality of it being totaled is a comfort. I never would've sold that car (only relegate it to weekend duty once a suitable daily replacement was available), but the idea of letting it go to somebody else would've been heartwrenching. Seeing it deteriorate under the ownership of someone else would've turned my stomach.

His ex told me she'd blown the transmission out, and sold it to a coworker to fix up. Last I heard, that project wasn't getting done, and it was sitting somewhere in WV with weeds probably growing up through it.

A great, great car, and one that really deserves mourning.

As a current GS-R owner, it pains me to imagine such a thing happening to mine. My love for it builds every time I wind that B18C up to 8,000, move that shifter into the next gear, or experience the feel and poise through a corner. (Winter wheels pictured, stock Blades in the summer)

That's a beautiful GS-R. Man, it's getting rarer and rarer to see them in that kind of condition these days. I wish you the best of luck in holding onto yours and keeping it as gorgeous as it is now.

So sorry to hear. My aunt has a 4 door GSR that has been attempted to be stolen multiple times . I have always wanted to get a DC series Integra but the high rate at which they are stolen has always deterred me from such an awesome car.

Thanks, much appreciated. I knew exactly what I wanted after I got my license - jumped on this one when I saw how nice its condition was, and spent the last few months enjoying every moment and keeping it in top shape. Has served me beautifully as my first step into the world of driving.

It's up to enthusiasts like us to keep cars like this fresh and on the road.

Such a shame. It honestly is one of the best cars I have ever driven. Damn thieves

Ah, man.

So I just found out one of my good friends listed his '92 Aztec Green Pearl GS-R for sale. Extremely rare car.

Many years ago, when we started hanging out, that car was pristine. You could perform surgery on its engine. Every last square inch of it was always shining. It was tastefully modified (read: mostly under the hood) and damned quick once the the high-compression, headworked B18C went in there. It was one of my favorite cars.

But time eventually took its toll on it, and the minor dents piled up, and I'm sad to say, the efforts to keep it absolutely perfect wound down. It's not in great shape today, as it sits in a garage, not running.

Still, when I see that car, even in its current condition, I feel like a young Arnie Cunningham peering into LeBay's garage. I don't see the beat-up car it is; I see the beautiful car it was.

I wish, so, so hard, that I could buy it. I'd have to leave it in storage in Dallas with my folks for a few years until I could fix it up, but I want it, and I want to be the one to return it to its former glory. I'm sitting here seriously considering selling one of my guitars to buy it. If it were in drivable condition, I think I might even trade him my Miata for it.

But that's probably not practical, especially after everything I've put into the Miata.

It sucks that today, I have to say goodbye to yet another Integra I loved. My heart breaks again.
